Cape Espichel is a spectacular place. Upon our arrival we were impressed by the immense cliffs, the ocean, the grandiose landscapes that remind us of our simple condition of travelers …
During this hike we could discover the legends of the Cape while following the footprints of 150 million years old dinosaurs!
Indeed, we visited two sites of footsteps of dinosaurs: the track of Pedra da Mua dating from the late Jurassic and the Lagosteiros site dating from the Cretaceous.
These two tracks 500 meters apart are separated by 50 million years!

Then you will discover the old fortress of São Domingos da Baralha, the lighthouse and the magnificent shrine of Our Lady of Cape Espichel.
